Sandringham will kick off the revamped 2021 VFL Season this Friday afternoon against Richmond at the Swinburne Centre.
Led by coach Jake Batchelor and captain Daniel Coffield - brother of Saints defender, Nick Coffield - the Zebras will look to kick off their season with a win for the first time since 2018.
Coffield will be supported by vice-captains Goy Lok and Chris Carey, while Luke Dalmau and Antony Seaton round out the official leadership group.
Tickets for Round 1 are on-sale for Sandringham members and general admission, which are available through the link below.
The revised structure of the VFL competition will see 22 teams, including interstate outfits Sydney, GWS, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Aspley and Southport, compete in 16 matches over 19 rounds, with each side given three byes during the year.
This year's fixture closely aligns with AFL programs given the VFL involvement of AFL-listed players from 14 AFL clubs and the shared resources across all 14 AFL clubs.
Sandringham will face Port Melbourne in Round 2 on Saturday 24 April at ETU Stadium, which will be live-streamed for free on Kayo Freebies.
The fixture for Rounds 3-19 to be confirmed shortly.
