Fraser 'G-Train' Gehrig will be stopping at all major food stations and cuisines this season as an official Deliveroo ambassador.
The cult figure forward will be devouring dumplings, wolfing down hot dogs and more in front of fans at Marvel Stadium as part of Deliveroo’s new advertising campaign with the Saints.
Gehrig set the socials alight when he was spotted last Friday night at Marvel Stadium chowing down – and sharing – meat pies in one of his first public appearances at the footy in over a decade.
It’s not the only piece of the pie he’ll be sharing, with the Saints icon donating his fees to the Danny Frawley Centre for Health & Wellbeing and Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision.
Gehrig will return to the screens for every St Kilda game at Marvel Stadium, tackling various cuisines during the remaining rounds of the season.
The fan-favourite Saint is no stranger to pushing the limits but admits the 12 course Deliveroo banquet, consumed while filming, even slowed him down.
“While I might not be burning it off as quickly as I was in my playing days, there’s nothing I love more than a good feed,” Gehrig said.
“So, when Deliveroo asked me to come back to the footy to smash a few meals, how could I say no?
Deliveroo’s Head of Marketing Laura Wilson said it great to get the G-Train back on board.
“G-Train is such an iconic St Kilda figure who is beloved by the whole sport,” she said.
“For him to come on board as ambassador is really exciting and it's incredibly generous of Fraser to donate his fees to causes close to Saints fans' hearts.
“Supporters won’t want to miss G-Train’s Feasts on the big screen at Marvel and across social media over the remainder of the season.
In addition to the G-Train activity, Saints supporters will receive exclusive Deliveroo offers, discount codes and additional perks through St Kilda Football Club member communications and in-game activations.
Saints fans can eat like the G-Train on Saturday night while watching the footy by redeeming $10 off their next Deliveroo order of $25 or more with code EATDUMPLINGS.
