The Zebras made it two wins on the trot as they made the trip up north to take on Aspley, before the lockdown in Victoria commenced.

It was a tight contest up until the very end, with Aspley up by four points at three-quarter time, but a six-goal final term saw Jake Batchelor’s men come home 11 point winners on the road.

Luke Dunstan was once again outstanding in his final VFL game before he was called up to the senior side, gathering 28 disposals and booting three majors.

Mason Wood contributed with two majors of his own, as well as 26 touches, while ruckman Paul Hunter dominated with 42 hit-outs and 20 disposals.

Richmond is currently sitting 5th on the VFL ladder, with three wins, two losses and a draw, which came at the hands of Williamstown last week.

Ryan Garthwaite booted three goals for the Tigers, while Patrick Naish collected 25 touches and kicked two majors himself.

Former Saint Matt Parker picked up 20 disposals, after Richmond selected him with pick No. 10 in the mid-season rookie draft earlier this year.

Southern Saints

Should the Southern Saints knock off North Melbourne this Sunday in the final round of the VFLW season, they will lock in their place for the finals.

Needing a win to keep their finals hopes alive, the Saints were able to come away with a six-point win against Carlton last week, thanks to a three goal final quarter.

Tyanna Smith picked up 22 disposals, six tackles and kicked two goals in the victory, while Alice Burke also contributed with 18 touches of her own.
