The fans have spoken, and as voted by you, Jack Steele is this week’s Dare Iced Coffee Sainter of the Round.

For the second week in a row the co-captain has earned the fan’s tick of approval, with his performance against Port Adelaide a shining light on Saturday afternoon.

Steele was reliably prolific as he racked up a game-high 37 touches, nine marks and one goal – on his opposite boot – in the opening term to get his side on the scoreboard.

The intensity with which Steele plays cannot be questioned, now leading the league for most tackles recorded this season so far (140) as well as the highest number of contested possessions, clearances, inside-50s and score involvements for the Saints.

In second place Rowan Marshall gets the two votes, competing strongly against the Power with 19 disposals and 16 hit-outs.

The No. 19 kicked two goals in the second half to will his side back into the contest, one being an impressive snap out of the ruck.
