Mad dashes to the airport, multiple lockdowns across the country and another game with no crowds have made for an interesting week for St Kilda.
Add in the losses of Tom Highmore (broken hand), Dan McKenzie (concussion) and Rowan Marshall (isolation) ahead of Saturday's game against West Coast and it's been more than an eventful few days for the squad in WA.
But the show goes on for Brett Ratten and the Saints, who have a lot to ponder at the selection table heading this week's must-win match at Optus Stadium.
Nick Coffield
The door to return to the side is wide open for Nick Coffield, who will be pushing to prove his fitness ahead of Saturday afternoon.
The defender has been out of action with a hamstring strain since Round 15, but will be eyeing off a senior return following a hand injury to Tom Highmore last week against Port Adelaide.
Coffield's height and aerial ability (an average of six marks per game) could be the ideal replacement for the sidelined Highmore, especially the given the Saints have key forwards Jack Darling, Oscar Allen and potentially Josh Kennedy to rein in this weekend.
Oscar Clavarino
It's been over six weeks since we last saw Oscar Clavarino in St Kilda colours, but that could change with the St Kilda's defensive structure missing its breakout intercept player.
The 23-year-old has been in solid form for Sandringham in recent weeks, accumulating back-to-back 22 disposal games as well as a handy one-goal outing against Richmond three weeks prior.
Clavarino made his debut earlier this season against North Melbourne and was last seen against Sydney in Round 12.
Paul Hunter
With Rowan Marshall's recent exposure to a Tier-1 COVID-19 site forcing him into isolation, an opportunity for Paul Hunter to return to the fray has emerged.
The 28-year-old has been an integral part of Sandringham's engine room, last week pulling down 37 hit-outs, 16 disposals, eight tackles, five marks and a goal against Essendon.
In his last four outings at VFL level, Hunter has averaged 37 hit-outs, 16 disposals and six tackles and has been crucial to the Zebras midfielders getting first use.
Should he come into the side to replace Marshall, the No. 41 will make his first appearance for the club since the Round 13 loss to the Crows.
In Contention
Despite picking from a limited squad due to injury and quarantine factors, St Kilda has other options to consider.
Jack Lonie is in good touch after he bagged five goals and netted 22 disposals against Essendon in last fortnight's VFL game.

Lonie is currently with the Saints in Perth alongside, James Frawley who made his return to competitive football via the VFL after shoulder and calf setbacks moved him to the sidelines.
The Saints may consider having the veteran backman join Dougal Howard and Callum Wilkie in defence to combat West Coast's big-bodied forwards. Frawley's one and only appearance for St Kilda came in Round 9 against Geelong.
Another choice for Brett Ratten would be handing a debut to mid-season recruit Cooper Sharman.
The 20-year-old from South Australia has been impressive at VFL level, booting six goals from his three appearances.
A high-flying mark and promising forward presence, Sharman may be someone that the Saints consider heading into Saturday afternoon.
