St Kilda could be in line to regain some key players in time for Round 22, with Dougal Howard and Dan Hannebery striving for consideration of a recall.
The pair will undergo tests this week alongside Paddy Ryder and Hunter Clark, who continue to push for senior selection after respective Achilles and concussion complaints.
Hannebery has played two matches in the VFL in the lead-up to his return from a series of repeated calf setbacks, collecting 18 disposals and a goal in his most recent outing a week ago.
Max King will also be a test for Round 22 after being subbed out of Saturday’s match against the Swans with a slight adductor strain.
In other injury news, James Frawley's season has come to a close after the club opted to send the 33-year-old in for shoulder surgery yesterday.
The Saints will also be without Leo Connolly (concussion) for Round 22 after he received a head knock late in last week’s contest, while Jack Billings will spend at least another week on the sidelines with a hamstring complaint.
