St Kilda has made two big changes for its trip down the highway, with Dan Hannebery set to play his first AFL game for the season against Geelong on Saturday.
Hannebery - who last played for St Kilda in 2020’s semi-final against Richmond - is one of two changes, with key defender Dougal Howard also set to return to senior ranks after missing last week’s match due to a hamstring strain.
Despite being subbed out late against the Swans with a slight adductor strain, Max King has ticked all the right boxes to take on the Cats, while Hunter Clark will miss another week due to concussion.
Leo Connolly (concussion) joins omitted Saints Darragh Joyce and Jack Bytel (medi-sub) on the sidelines for Round 22.
Joyce and Bytel have been listed as emergencies alongside Ben Long and Paul Hunter.
St Kilda will look to keep its finals hopes alive against Geelong on Saturday 14 August, with the opening bounce at GMBHA Stadium locked in for 4:35pm.
IN: Hannebery, Howard
OUT: Bytel (omitted), Connolly (concussion), Joyce (omitted)
Last week's sub: Jack Bytel (replaced King)
