Home to the club's elite footballers and staff, RSEA Park is the home of St Kilda’s state-of-the-art training and administration facility.
St Kilda’s $30 million redevelopment has transformed Moorabbin into a state-of-the-art football facility for both our men’s and women’s teams.
Stage 1 commenced in early 2018, providing the foundations for a successful football enterprise shared by St Kilda Football Club and major football organisations from the south.
The Saints’ elite training facilities – including the gym, changerooms and recovery areas – and administrative headquarters leapt off the page, with the blueprints becoming a reality after months of extensive construction.
The south-east wing also provided the Southern Football and Netball League, the South Metro Junior Football League, Sandringham Dragons and local Auskick programs with a base of operations. Stage 2 of the redevelopment showed its first signs of progress in August 2019 with the construction of AFLW changerooms to house the Saints’ inaugural women’s team. A four-lane lap pool, a hydrotherapy pool, male and female changerooms, an additional gym, integrated classroom/suite spaces and a 1000-seat grandstand are set to be added to the south-west side of the ground to conclude the second stage of the redevelopment.
Relocation of some of the above facilities – with the hydrotherapy pool to be positioned underneath the grandstand are under the umbrella of the Stage 3 approval. Construction is set to commence in early 2020, following the AFLW Season.
