ST KILDA has suffered two more injuries ahead of its round seven match against Hawthorn at the MCG on Saturday.
Saints ruckman, Tom Hickey has developed a stress reaction in his foot coming out of last week's match in New Zealand that will unfortunately see him miss this week's game. The length of Hickey's absence will become clearer after further assessment next week.
In addition to Hickey, round one Rising Star nominee Luke Dunstan has suffered mild concussion from a routine incident at training today and will miss one week.
"Obviously, we are disappointed to lose both Tom and Luke for this week's game against Hawthorn, especially on the back of injuries to Eli Templeton, Sam Gilbert, David Armitage and Nathan Wright," St Kilda's Head of Football Chris Pelchen said on Thursday evening.

"But injuries are a normal part of professional sport and these players absence opens the door for two new young debutants at the Saints in Maverick Weller and Blake Acres, both of whom have displayed excellent form with Sandringham in the VFL competition."
Hickey has taken his game to another level this year, shouldering the bulk of the ruck duties and even pushing forwards occasionally.
Dunstan, 19, averages over 20 disposals per game in 2014 and collected a team-high 29 touches against West Coast in round three.
Congrats to @lukedunstan2 on the rising star nom. I reckon i had more influence than you @hickey_t #coloradoroomies
