Sandringham’s (11th, 5-8-1) inconsistent season continued last week with a heavy 66-point loss to ladder leaders Richmond, including a goalless opening term that also conceded nine goals. The Zebras have now lost their past two games, with their last win coming against Port Melbourne in Round 13.

The Box Hill Hawks (5th, 8-5) are knocking on the door of the top four having beaten Port Melbourne by 43 points two weeks ago. The Hawks downed the Zebras by 64 points in Round Five, so expect them to come in with confidence.

Hugh Goddard
The defender has been building well in recent weeks, with plaudits coming from Sandringham coach Aaron Hamill. Goddard took 11 marks along with 21 disposals in a Sandringham defence that conceded 62 inside
Nathan Freeman
Another Saint who’s injuries have been well documented, ‘Freeza’ finished with 29 disposals, seven marks and five tackles on a tough afternoon against the Tigers. He's another who has been building form as he begins to push for senior selection.
BOX HILL HAWKS
James Worpel
The Hawks’ leading ball winner in the win over Port Melbourne a fortnight ago, Worpel finished with 34 disposals and a goal. The 19-year-old is averaging 18 disposals across his nine games at VFL level.
David Mirra
The former skipper continues to lead by example and make inroads at AFL level. He finished with 22 disposals and nine marks across half-back last week, with his experience and strong body providing the Hawks with strong support in the back half.
