The fans have spoken, and as voted by you, Jack Higgins is this week's Dare Iced Coffee Sainter of the Round.

Higgins was the star of the show on Saturday afternoon in his return from a concussion lay-off, slamming home a career-best five goals as the Saints secured its fourth win of the year against Gold Coast.

The dynamic small forward added to his five-goal bag with 16 disposals, seven marks (five inside-50) and 332 metres gained, but it was his work rate back towards goal and the ability to get himself and his teammates on the scoreboard that had the greatest impact on the contest.

Higgins had a hand in eight of his side's 13 major scores - five of which came off his own boot - to finish with a game-high 10 score involvements, backing up his previous efforts against Fremantle in Round 2 which yielded four goals.

Although drawing considerable attention after a wayward showing against Collingwood in Round 1, the 23-year-old has since proven his importance in St Kilda's attacking structure with a subsequent pair of match-winning performances.

Higgins has kicked 10 goals in his last nine quarters of football to sit third on the club's goalkicking numbers for 2022 behind Coleman leader Max King (16) and Tim Membrey (11).

Two votes go to Jade Gresham, whose 100th game was as eye-catching from start-to-finish as his highlights reel.

The milestone man netted 25 disposals, six clearances and two goals to close out his lively afternoon, with both of his goals instant additions to his ever-growing list of unbelievable goals.

Gresham's contribution through the middle of the ground has been a constant throughout the opening month of the season. A renewed focus in his preparation, diet and recovery following successive injury-hit seasons has revitalised the young Saint's game, who has consistently charted his side's best in all five games this year.

Jack Sinclair rounds out this week's voting, with the running half-back/midfielder's importance and influence elevating with each passing week.

Sinclair's run and carry was utilised to its fullest potential on Saturday afternoon, accumulating 524 metres gained from a team-high 27 disposals (equal with Seb Ross, Brad Crouch and Jack Steele), as well as an additional seven rebound-50s.

From the opening five rounds, the runner-up at last year's Trevor Barker Award has averaged 27 touches per game and 483 metres gained.

Sinclair has earned Dare Iced Coffee Sainter of the Round votes in four out of five matches in 2022, with last week's efforts against Hawthorn being rewarded with a perfect 10 AFL Coaches' Association votes.
