Hunter Clark is set make his return to football this week via the VFL. 

The 23-year-old has not played since injuring his shoulder in the Saints’ AAMI Community Series win against Essendon.

Clark will be joined by Cooper Sharman, who has cleared concussion protocols after receiving a head knock against GWS in last fortnight’s VFL outing.

Rowan Marshall will also be eligible for selection this week after missing Round 7.

Jack Bytel will be assessed this week after leaving the ground in the third quarter of Sandringham’s victory on the weekend with a minor knee injury. 

Jack Hayes’ ACL rehabilitation is underway, with the versatile forward undergoing surgery last week, while Nick Coffield is expected to commence running in the coming weeks as part of his own ACL recovery.
