The fans have spoken, and as voted by you, Jack Sinclair is this week’s Dare Iced Coffee Sainter of the Round.
In one of the hardest-fought wins of St Kilda’s season, it was Sinclair who led the way across Marvel Stadium as his dash, attack and composure around the ball helped his side secure the highly prized four points.
Six days following a heavy tag job from Sydney's Ryan Clarke, the 27-year-old relished the extra freedom afforded to him - strengthened by the work-rate of his teammates - with a career-high 37 disposals, as well as 11 marks, eight intercepts and 606 metres gained.
Sinclair’s performance on Friday continues a rich vein of form that has extended across 2022, with the No. 35 firming towards an All-Australian nomination come season’s end.
Joining him in the votes is the ever-reliable Tim Membrey, who was another key contributor in the Saints’ 15-point victory under the roof.
The key forward was a force to be reckoned with inside-50, clunking five marks and booting four crucial goals, including a miraculous over-the-head major that all but solidified the final result.
Membrey’s haul now sees the 28-year-old sitting on 23 goals for the season, second for the club behind fellow forward Max King, who has bagged 38.
Rounding out the votes is skipper Jack Steele, who led the charge through the St Kilda engine room to see his side back onto the winners’ list.
Only having returned last week from an AC joint injury, the two-time Best & Fairest winner looked every bit his sensational self as he rounded up 24 disposals, nine tackles, five score involvements and a massive goal on the cusp of three-quarter time.
While his work on the ball was crucial to the win, it was Steele's shutdown role on Carlton captain Patrick Cripps that was massive in the Saints securing victory, limiting his influence as the Blues star threatened to will his side over the line.
