For the third year straight, Max King has been selected in the AFL Players' Association 22Under22 side.

King, the only Saint picked in the final side, has continued to build on his promising 2021 campaign with an impressive 2022 year, continuing his rise as one of the club's most exciting young talents.

The 22-year-old ended the year with a career-best 52 goals, finishing sixth in the Coleman Medal race and sitting in the top 10 of the votes.

The 22Under22 concept aims to recognise the best players in the competition aged 22 or under, with the initial 40-man squad refined to a fan-voted team of 22 after a week-long voting period.
