St Kilda has received a huge boost ahead of Sunday's top-four blockbuster against Carlton, with leaders Jack Steele and Tim Membrey named to make their returns.

The star duo made it through Friday's training unscathed and have been locked in for the highly-anticipated clash at Marvel Stadium.

Membrey will make his first AFL appearance of 2023 after getting through a full VFL game last week in his return from knee surgery, while Steele has made a remarkable recovery from a broken collarbone suffered in Round 2.

Marcus Windhager has been pushed out of the side due to Steele's return but remains a chance to feature as the substitute. Last week's substitute, Jack Bytel, has also been named as an emergency.

Anthony Caminiti will serve the first of his three-game suspension.
