From the luscious locks, marvellous mullets and many, many more, St Kilda has been home to some of the game's most iconic hairdos.
One of them is majestically doing the 'dos of the past proud, with Jack Sinclair's mighty mullet steadily engraining itself into Saints folklore on the eve of his 150th game this weekend.
In celebration of this weekend's milestone, we've enlisted the help of the King of all 'Dos, Peter 'Spida' Everitt to give us his top-10 greatest haircuts of all-time that have rolled through Moorabbin.

10. Alex Marcou
There's a lot to unpack here. But when it comes to sheer volume of hair, it's hard to go past the great Alex Marcou.
The sheer growth is off the charts, making him a worthy entry into this esteemed countdown. And we're not just talking about the hair on his head!
Spida says...: Hair, there and everywhere! This really is extraordinary no matter where you look... there must have been something in the water during the '80s to be able to grow hair as impressive as that."
9. James Gwilt
When it comes to big hair, few could top James Gwilt.
Coming in at 188cm, the large-scale 'do at its best supposedly bumped his height past the two-metre mark!
Spida says...: The best afro in the AFL for years. So many players idealised such a 'do, and rumours have it even umpires were impressed with such a 'do!
8. Carl Ditterich
The Blonde Bombshell himself.
One of the most fearsome players to ever play the game, the big, bruising and bustling Carl Ditterich was unmissable on-field with his classy combination of blonde Beatles-inspired hair, retro moustache and iconic white headband.
Spida says...: It’s not all about the hairdo; it’s sometimes about the image. The headband was a huge statement. Sure, there were nice blonde locks underneath, but the headband made the 'do.
7. Mick Dwyer
When your time's up, there's not much you can do to change it.
Mick Dwyer put up a good fight, but eventually pulled out the clippers to bring an end to one of the Saints' more memorable haircuts.
Spida says...: He hung on as long as he could and we all loved the combover for years, but it was great to see Mick finally give up on it. We were waiting on the Bert Newton toupee, but he accepted the nugget.
6. Troy Schwarze
Forever immortalised by his big roost which gave St Kilda an unforgettable win against Brisbane in 2004, Troy Schwarze's overflowing 'do similarly holds a special place in St Kilda history.
Starting off his career with a typical buzz cut, 'the Wool' soon brought out the 'coastal-chic shag' which adorned his bonce for his remaining years at the Saints.
Spida says...: There has to be a special mention to have a head like a stainless steel scourer, but at the same time remind us all of Screech from Saved by the Bell. We can’t leave out the Wool!
5. Peter 'Spida' Everitt
Putting himself at number five is mighty modest from the great Spida, whose vast arrow of 'dos were rivalled by very few of his era.
Coupled with the famed Spida headband much like the great No. 10 ruckman before him in Carl Ditterich, you simply couldn't miss Everitt no matter how hard you tried.
Spida says...: Pick a style! Sideways mohawk, blond dreadlocks, short back and sides or the fake (yes, the fake) long dreads. They say it was actually horse hair, and that Spida used to sit in the hairdressers for four hours once a month to look like that!
4. Jack Sinclair
Jack Sinclair's mullet is simply in a class of its own.
Always a neat and tidy cut in his first 100 games, the No. 35 let the locks loose during 2020 to give rise to one of the most iconic looks in St Kilda history.
Some even say that it was the magic of the mullet which helped propel Sinclair towards All-Australian and Best & Fairest honours last season.
Spida says...: Today's idol off half-back boasts of one of the greatest mullets of all-time. There’s a few of them around today, but the locks weren’t so brave some 150 games ago.
3. Danny Frawley
It may be a surprise for some to see Danny Frawley make it onto this list given his far-from-outlandish locks, however it isn't necessarily the hairdo, but what he put into his locks, which jettisons Spud into the top-three.
Towards the later stages of his career where the greys were starting to poke through that little bit more, the Saints skipper may have swung through the supermarket for a quick colour to conceal them.
Unfortunately, hair dye and sweat don't mix.
Spida says...: When age gets the better of you, the number one rule is don’t hide it with a plum rinse that's so obvious that the dye might of run down the side of your head at a training session!
2. Robert Harvey
Consistency was the backbone of Robert Harvey's record-breaking career, which transferred seamlessly into his order at the barber's for almost four decades.
No matter how many kilometres Banga clocked at training or during games, the 'do was unmoving. Even today, it still remains the same.
Spida says...: It wasn’t scary or intimidating to the opposition, but to have the same LEGO hair design for 40 years that doesn’t change before, during or after a game is impressive. We salute his hairdresser.
1. Fraser Gehrig
Are there really any surprises here?
This top honour adds another decorated accolade to the two-time Coleman medallist's CV, rightly cementing his status as one of the Saints' all-time cult heroes.
Spida says...: With a mullet like that, you didn't want to mess with the G-Train. Backed up by piercing eye contact, unwanted aggression and massive biceps, he was always a force with the mullet flapping in the wind behind him.
