St Kilda has added five names to its extended squad ahead of Sunday's clash with Hawthorn at Marvel Stadium.

Winger Ryan Byrnes has been named in the starting 18, while Tom Campbell and Tom Highmore could play their first senior games of the season, joining fellow inclusions Liam Stocker and Zaine Cordy and last week's substitute Jack Billings on an extended bench.

The Saints will make at least two changes, with Bradley Hill (bruised lung) and Dougal Howard (fractured wrist) casualties out of last week's win over North Melbourne. The pair's return-to-play timeline will be clearer next week.

St Kilda’s final team will be confirmed on Friday at 5pm AEST.

IN: Byrnes, Stocker, Cordy, Campbell, Highmore
OUT: Howard (injured), Hill (injured)

Last week’s substitute: Jack Billings replaced Bradley Hill in the first quarter.
