Max King and Bradley Hill could bolster the Saints’ line-up this week, pending fitness tests.

King (shoulder) and Hill (lung) are among several potential inclusions, with Tim Membrey, Jack Hayes and Nick Coffield all successfully completing VFL returns in recent weeks.

“We’ll give Max and Bradley every opportunity to prove their fitness this week,” Acting General Manager of Football David Misson said.

“Bradley has been feeling pretty good since the incident, it’s just been a matter of letting his body heal.

“He will still need to get through training to prove his fitness, but we’re reasonably confident.

“Similarly with Max, it’s about making sure he’s confident in his body and ready to perform.

“We’ll give Bradley and Max every opportunity to put their hand up.”

Seb Ross is progressing well in his hamstring rehabilitation, with a scheduled return date of next week.

“Seb has been really professional in his recovery and all going to plan he could be available as early as Round 22.”

Meanwhile, Zak Jones is likely to miss the remainder of the home and away season after receiving an injury to his knee.

“Zak has sustained a strain to his left medical ligament, as well as damage to his lateral cartilage,” Misson said.

“It’s a really disappointing result for Zak after what has already been a frustrating year for him.

“He’ll consult the surgeon this week and we’ll have a better understanding of his rehabilitation after that.”

Cooper Sharman will be monitored this week after finishing Sunday’s win with leg soreness.

“Cooper has avoided any serious damage, but he’ll need to get through training this week to prove his fitness to play.”
