Captain Hannah Priest and new recruit Jesse Wardlaw have topped the coaches' votes for Round 5 after helping guide their side to last Friday's win over the Western Bulldogs at VU Whitten Oval.

Wardlaw bagged three majors - including the 50th of her career - as she flipped between the forward line and ruck, while Priest nabbed a career-best 28 disposals to finish as one of the Saints' best players.

Former Bulldog Jaimee Lambert extended her lead at the top of the St Kilda table by another three votes, while Georgia Patrikios added two to her name after another notable showing through the middle.

Bulldogs skipper Ellie Blackburn (seven votes) and ruck Alice Edmonds (two) rounded out the votes for Round 5.
