Nicola Xenos is almost certain to feature in this weekend’s match against Walyalup following a minor ankle sprain late in St Kilda’s win over GWS.
Xenos came from the field in the game’s final minutes, and will need to pass a fitness test this week to confirm her availability for Round 8.
“We’re confident Nicola will be available for Sunday’s game in Perth,” General Manager of AFLW Tessie McManus said.
“Nicola received treatment on the sidelines, and beyond some initial discomfort, has pulled up well.”
Meanwhile, Steph Chiocci will undergo surgery on her ACL today, while Rebecca Ott (Achilles), Hannah Stuart (knee) and Jayde Van Dyk (knee) are continuing their respective recoveries.
