J’Noemi Anderson will spend at least a week on the sidelines as she manages a low-grade hamstring strain, sustained during Sunday's match over Essendon.
Anderson was rested after half-time as a precaution in the eventual eight-point win, having spent part of the game on-ball to give the Saints some added grunt at stoppages.
“It's disappointing for J’Noemi after a flying start to her season, but we're confident to have her back on-field shortly," EGM AFLW Tessie McManus said.
“Thankfully with this strain on the lower end, we hope to welcome J'Noemi back into the selection fold come next week.”
Meanwhile, Hannah Stuart will remain on the sidelines for another week as she continues to recover from her own hamstring injury.
“Hannah is progressing well. With the demands of a tight fixture on the horizon, we want to ensure our players are at a full bill of health before their return to play,” McManus said.
Rebecca Ott (tibia) and Beth Pinchin (ACL) have commenced running progressions, while Georgia Patrikios continues to make headway on her return to play timeline.
