J’Noemi Anderson is in strong contention to return to the side this Friday night as she undergoes a final fitness test this afternoon.
The young forward will be a welcomed addition to the squad after suffering a low-grade hamstring strain during the Saints’ Round 3 win over Essendon.
Unfortunately, Nat Exon will spend some time on the sidelines after suffering a rib fracture late in the second half during Friday’s loss to Fremantle.
“It’s disappointing for Nat, who has been an integral piece in our forward line since her return in Round 2,” EGM AFLW Tessie McManus said.
“She’s one of the strongest athletes at the club who we know will do everything possible to get back in the next few weeks.”
Meanwhile, Rebecca Ott (tibia) has been making strides in her respective recovery as the key defender gains ground on her return to play timeline.
