St Kilda Football Club has officially welcomed five new Life Members, with the esteemed group receiving due recognition as part of Monday evening's Trevor Barker Award.
Players Jack Sinclair and Tim Membrey, former Board member Paul Kirk and long-serving medical professional Dr Rohan White were celebrated at Crown Palladium to receive their special honour, with former Saint Jack Billings to receive his honour in-person at a later date.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Webster elected to defer his induction as a Life Member to 2025 after reaching eligibility this year.
Throughout their respective tenures, all contributed to St Kilda in different ways, but their involvement has been integral to the growth and prosperity of the club.
Tim Membrey
After joining St Kilda from the Swans at the end of the 2014 season, Tim Membrey has been a heart and soul player since the moment he pulled on the tricolours. In all of his 178 games to-date for the club, Tim has led with passion and courage, never afraid to put the team first. He led St Kilda’s goal kicking 2016, 2017 and 2019, and also took home the Robert Harvey Best Clubman Award in 2020. A popular member of the playing group and club more broadly, Tim’s leadership and vibrant personality has endeared him to the Saints faithful and football community alike throughout his career.
Jack Sinclair
Inheriting a generational affiliation with the club, playing for St Kilda was never far from Jack Sinclair's mind. After first joining the club as a rookie and later cementing his position in the senior side, Jack has gone from strength to strength, earning All-Australian honours and Trevor Barker Awards in both 2022 and 2023. A fellow Best Clubman Award winner, Jack’s dedication to the club and his teammates has been evident throughout his 187 games to-date. Jack, who held an official leadership position for the first time this year, is also a dedicated AFL Players Association representative and has assisted the club with various charitable pursuits, including raising over $20,000 for the Danny Frawley Centre.
Paul Kirk
Paul Kirk served as a director of the club for nine years. A lifelong Saints fan, Paul’s globally recognised aptitude for business strategy and passion to see the club succeed saw him involved in many projects across his tenure. Throughout his time, Paul held the positions of Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee, Member of the Renumeration Committee and Chair of the Foundation Committee.
Dr Rohan White
Dr Rohan White served as club doctor from 1987 to 2001 and never hesitated to go above and beyond the bounds of his role. In addition to his duties as club doctor, Rohan has given back to the footballing community through various positions in reserves competitions, through his involvement in the AFL Medical Officers Association and through his ongoing work with past players.
