Dougal Howard and Zak Jones have recommitted to St Kilda, each inking fresh one-year extensions to remain in the red, white and black.
Howard and Jones recently completed their fifth season at the Saints, with the pair initially arriving at RSEA Park as part of the 2019 Trade Period.
The duo follow a recent wave of re-signings at St Kilda, headlined by an six-year contract extension to Max King, a three-year contract extension to Mason Wood and two-year deals for forwards Dan Butler and Cooper Sharman.
“Dougal and Zak have both played important and distinct roles in our team this season and we’re very pleased to have them both re-sign,” EGM Football David Misson said.
“Dougal’s dependability is integral in our defensive line-up and will continue to be so moving forward. His experience down back will continue to be a great asset for us going forward.
“Zak has had a rough stint with injury the past two years, but we’re glad to see his recent form prove the value and punch he can bring to our emerging midfield group.”
Howard has played 90 games for St Kilda following on from his 45 appearances for Port Adelaide, while Jones has represented the club across 59 matches after beginning his career at Sydney.
