Olivia Vesely and Rene Caris will reclaim their place in the line-up in time for Sunday afternoon’s Pride Round fixture against Melbourne at RSEA Park.
Vesely was managed prior to Tuesday's win over GWS, but will pull on the tricolours alongside Caris in place of Maddie Boyd (omitted) and Emmelie Fiedler (managed) as the Saints seek their fifth win of the season.
Boyd and Fiedler join Hannah Stuart as emergencies for Sunday afternoon.
Jaimee Lambert will again head up St Kilda’s midfield brigade after successfully overturning her one-game suspension for rough conduct at the Tribunal yesterday evening, while debutant Kiera Whiley will play her second senior game in less than a week after making her debut on Tuesday night.
In what will be the fifth consecutive week of player milestones, Saints leader Serene Watson will line up for her 50th AFLW game, having joined the club in 2023 after 33 matches for Gold Coast.
As part of AFLW Pride Round and following on from Tuesday's debut appearance, the Saints will wear a new-for-2024 Pride Guernsey on Sunday afternoon; the interlocking pattern which stretches across the entirety of the guernsey symbolising the club as a whole celebrating diversity and acceptance.
