St Kilda Football Club has reported a profit before interest expense, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of $1,528,594 for the financial year ending October 31 2024, underpinned by record-breaking membership growth and revenue.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Saints achieved a record membership tally with 60,467 members joining the club in 2024. Membership revenue reflected this growth, increasing by 8.6 per cent year-on-year from $9,848,241 to $10,692,202. Fundraising and donation revenue also saw significant growth, rising by 18.4 per cent.
Additionally, 2024 saw the club increase its investment in the men’s and women’s football departments by $1.4 million, ensuring continued focus on developing a strong and competitive on-field presence.
St Kilda Football Club CEO, Carl Dilena, praised the commitment of the club’s members, partners, and broader community, highlighting their role in achieving this year’s results.
“Our record-breaking membership and revenue numbers are a testament to the loyalty and passion of the Saints community,” Dilena said.
“Importantly, this financial stability has allowed us to significantly increase our investment in football operations. This ensures that both our men’s and women’s teams are well-resourced to achieve success while also maintaining our focus on building a sustainable, high-performing club both on and off the field.
“As we look to 2025 and beyond, our goal is to build on this momentum. Whether it’s through further growth in our membership base, stronger on-field performances, or expanded community programs, we’re excited about what lies ahead.”
