St Kilda Football Club is thrilled to announce the extension of its partnership with the Greater Dandenong City Council.
The Saints have been providing programs in Greater Dandenong for a number of years, delivering school engagement programs, modified Auskick programs, and club and league engagement and development.
“We have been working closely with the Greater Dandenong City Council since 2022, working towards our shared goals to increase the health and wellbeing of the community through participation in Australian Rules Football,” St Kilda Football Club Education Lead Hannah Priest said.
“This partnership is something that we as a club are really proud of and we look forward to deepen our ties to the Greater Dandenong community in the years to come.”
The partnership furthers St Kilda’s commitment to creating environments that encourage and support the community to be physically active, while promoting healthy lifestyles, leadership and cultural awareness.
“We are so pleased that the St Kilda Football Club has extended its valuable partnership with us. We welcome their commitment to programs in schools and at club and league level. This aligns with Council’s commitment to opportunities for more people to be more active, more often,” Mayor of Greater Dandenong Cr Jim Memet said.
“The health and social benefits of participation in sport make a real difference, especially in the lives of young people. Partnerships like this open up more opportunities for leadership and community connections and we look forward to strengthening this relationship even further.”
