A stellar showing from stand-in skipper Seb Ross led to a landslide in the voting, with more than 2,300 Sainters submitting their 3-2-1 after Sunday’s nail-biting win over the Hawks.
The gutsy midfielder racked up 39 disposals and 13 contested possessions, and was absolutely critical in the dying seconds as his side held on.

And his game-high 549 metres gained and eight score involvements only further highlight the ever-growing talent of the 26-year-old.
But by far his biggest moment was a monster roost from beyond the arc, capitalising on a hard ball get from Jack Billings to bang home the telling major.

Young gun Billings polled the next most votes, the in-form midfielder amassing 34 disposals and six rebound-50s.
It was a complete performance for the talented 23-year-old and last week’s Sainter of the Round, punctuated by two courageous contested marks late in the final term.
