Young gun Jade Gresham will be sidelined for at least two weeks with a fractured eye-socket.
Scans following Saturday night’s clash with Adelaide revealed a small fracture in the area surrounding his left eye.
In better news for the Saints, Dan Hannebery, Jack Newnes and Ben Paton are all likely to be available for selection after recovering from illness in recent days.
Blake Acres is also likely to put his hands up, after he was sidelined on the weekend with a shoulder injury. Acres’ availability will be dependent on completing main training with the group on Thursday.
Skipper Jarryn Geary has officially been ruled out for the rest of the season, as he continues to recover from the leg injury he acquired in Round 11 in China.
