Trent Dennis-Lane played nine senior matches this season and averaged a goal per game.

The 25-year-old, in his first season at the club, spent most of his time on a forward-flank but also played deeper in the VFL with great success – booting 24 goals in just nine matches.

Dennis-Lane played every game from round 11 to round 17 and kicked multiple goals against Richmond and Fremantle, demonstrating his cleverness in the forward 50 both as a marking option and crumbing rover.

Forward-line coach Adam Kingsley:

“Trent came down from Sydney after a trade and showed some really positive signs over the course of the year, specifically his performance on Houli in round 14 was very good.

He just needs to work on his consistency on a week to week basis and if he does this I’m sure he will have a good influence in 2014.”
