You can always rely on Nadia von Bertouch’s strength to bounce back.
The courageous forward may be sidelined for the remainder of the season after innocuously rupturing her ACL in Sunday’s historic clash, but she refused to let that hold her back.
INJURY UPDATE: von Bertouch to miss 2020 AFLW Season
Von Bertouch was battered and bashed about on several occasions, with the biggest hit landing midway through the third quarter.
The South Australian was poleaxed by Bulldog Hannah Scott in an ugly-looking incident in front of the interchange bench, which looked for all money to end her afternoon.

But just like St Kilda legend Lenny Hayes in his debut game – where he was cleaned up by a rampaging Glenn Archer – von Bertouch immediately picked herself up and carried on without a fuss.
The character-defining action was met with admiration from the capacity crowd, who watched the No. 28 battle on before limping off in the final term.
Von Bertouch ended the landmark afternoon with five disposals and a tackle before receiving the news of her season-ending injury on Monday.
And when she fully recovers, you can rely on Nadia von Bertouch to bounce back.
