The 22-year-old’s teammate-turned-rival Hill racked up 17 disposals, 24 pressure acts, 10 score involvements and a goal.
His precision kicking at full tilt was on display throughout the evening, and fitted seamlessly into the match’s insane skill level and lightning-quick pace.
The All Stars shined bright in the early stages of the game despite some errant kicking at goal, before working their way to a five-goal lead by the third quarter as the game’s best impressed at every turn.
But the Vics saved their inspiring surge home for last, piling on an unanswered eight goals to run out emphatic 46-point winners.
A crowd of 51,052 crammed under the roof of Marvel Stadium, with all proceeds going towards the bushfire relief.
