Half-time: Saints face an uphill task
St Kilda will need to rediscover its round five form if its to have any chance of overhauling Brisbane in Wellington.
Leigh Montagna has been the Saints best player with 18 disposals and a goal, while Lenny Hayes and experienced defender Sean Dempster have collected 17 touches apiece.
Eli Templeton was subbed with a suspected broken arm and taken to hospital. He was replaced by Kiwi-born midfielder Shane Savage, while Nick Riewoldt and Rhys Stanley have found the going tough up forward due to some inconsistent ball use further afield.
Brisbane have generally been first to the ball, but a late Clint Jones goal saved some face, and the Saints remain in the game - if only just.
The gusty and dewy conditions, coupled with the smaller playing surface, has made this game highly contested without much room to move. Brisbane has had the better of most statistics, including contested possessions.
