The 19-year-old played the last two games of the AFL home and away season, impressing with his strong marking and reliable set-shot kicking.
“Spencer has made continued improvement across 2014,” St Kilda Head of Football Chris Pelchen told SAINTS.com.au.
“He has outstanding athleticism for his size and we are confident that through the ongoing development of various aspects of his game, Spencer will become a valuable offensive option for the Saints going forward."

First-year coach Alan Richardson echoed Pelchen’s sentiments and suggested that increasing his aerobic capacity will be a key focus over the summer.“Spencer has enormous potential to be a quality key forward,” Richardson told SAINTS.com.au.
“Clearly he needs to continue to work on the running aspect of his game but we are very excited by what Spencer offers as that key post.”
White booted three goals on debut against Richmond in round 22, playing as St Kilda’s deepest forward while Nick Riewoldt and Rhys Stanley roamed further afield.
His performance allowed him to hold his spot for St Kilda’s final game of the year against Adelaide, when he booted an early goal and competed well in a 79-point defeat.
This senior experience gave White a taste of football at the elite level, but as he told SAINTS.com.au recently, he’s hungry for more.
“The two games I played will hold me in good stead for the pre-season,” White said.
“I now know what is required to play good AFL footy, but it won’t just happen. I need to work extremely hard over the summer.
“I will get a lot fitter and bigger and come back fit and firing for pre-season training.”

“A few of the older boys like Lenny, Kosi and Joey, have spoken about how they came through together,” he said.
“We’re going to really try and get that same sort of feel over the next few years… I’m really pumped.”
White's re-signing follows Luke Dunstan, Josh Saunders, Jack Newnes, Lewis Pierce and Nathan Wright last week, in addition to Jimmy Webster on Monday and Blake Acres on Tuesday.
