Dan Butler was tonight adjudged the Ian Stewart medallist after a voting panel of Nick Riewoldt, Jason Dunstall and Anthony Hudson cast their votes towards the best-on-ground.
The ex-Tiger polled eight votes following the Saints' 26-point victory over Richmond, pulling well-clear ahead of podium-finishers Tim Membrey (four votes) and Jack Bilings (two votes).
Butler ended his day with three critical majors to mitigate Richmond's dangerous bursts, and rounded out his afternoon with 13 touches and seven score involvements.
