Saints midfielder Dan Hannebery will travel with the team to South East Queensland despite confirmation he will be sidelined in the immediate future with a hamstring injury.
Scans this morning confirmed a hamstring strain that is expected to keep him out for an estimated three weeks.
The hard-running midfielder incurred the injury during the third quarter of last night’s win over Carlton.
Hannebery’s injury was one of the few negatives to emerge from a Thursday night blockbuster that put the Saints ahead on the ledger with three wins from five games.
His absence could pave the way for gun recruit Zak Jones to return after the hard nut missed Thursday night’s clash with a minor hamstring issue.
