Jonathon Marsh will play his first senior game since Round 6 when St Kilda faces Hawthorn in Sunday afternoon’s must-win match at Metricon Stadium.
The mature-age recruit will be joined by Jack Lonie as this week’s inclusions, with Tim Membrey (injured) and Nicholas Hind (omitted) making way for the returning pair.
Surgery to repair Membrey’s fractured finger will put the key forward on ice for Round 16, with the club expecting him to reclaim his post for Thursday’s match against West Coast.
Hind, Ryan Byrnes, Dylan Roberton and Ryan Abbott have been named as emergencies.
Sunday afternoon will also mark skipper Jarryn Geary’s 200th game; a career that has spanned 14 seasons, weathered through the club’s rise, fall and rise again and has seen him captain the red, white and black for 59 matches.
St Kilda will meet Hawthorn at Metricon Stadium on Sunday 6 October, with the opening bounce set for 1:05pm AEST.
