St Kilda’s 2020 campaign in the Victorian Blind Football League has come to an end after falling to the Bombers in last Saturday’s Preliminary Final.

The Saints held sway with their undefeated opposition up until the major break thanks to a brace of goals from Shannon Jones, before the red-and-black kicked away in the second half.

Young Saint Patrick Whelan was a highlight of the morning through his efforts in the hit-outs, while Peter Robinson offered plenty of dash from the defensive half.

The Bombers eventually fell to the Bulldogs that afternoon's VBFL Grand Final.

While the Saints closed out the three-week carnival without a win to their name, three players were honoured at the end-of-season awards.

Kadek Artayana was named as the competition's Rising Star, while Brendan Spencer and Ingrid McKenna were named in the 2020 All Stars Team.
