Revered St Kilda recruiter John Beveridge has been awarded the 2021 Jack Titus Service Award for conspicuous service to our game.
The prestigious award recognises Beveridge’s commitment to both the St Kilda Football Club and the wider game as a recruiter and supporter of young talent for over five decades.
After starting at the Saints in 1983, he was responsible for landing some of the biggest names in the game in a career littered with highlights.
Beveridge snared Nick Riewoldt and Brendon Goddard with the prized No. 1 pick and unearthed hidden gems like Sam Fisher and Jarryn Geary much deeper down the order.
He saw recruiting evolve from a part-time role into a team full of full-time recruiters, and he built a list that was the envy of the competition in the 2009-2010 era.
St Kilda Football Club congratulates John and thanks him for his huge contribution to our club.
