Rosie Dillon is likely to be available for selection this weekend after scans cleared her of a suspected fractured larynx.

The reigning Best & Fairest was forced out of last weekend’s match following an accidental hit to the throat in the opening half against the Giants.

Despite some bruising, Dillon will be cleared to play, provided she completes the week’s training without complaint.

On the other hand, Kate McCarthy is in doubt to face Collingwood following a flare-up of an existing stress response in her lower leg.

The 28-year-old was previously ruled out with concussion earlier in the season.

Nat Exon will be racing the clock to return to the line-up after receiving a shoulder knock in Round 6, while Rhi Watt is determined to retain her place after boot studs pierced her lower leg in a tunnelling incident against GWS.

Meanwhile, Olivia Vesely and Rebecca Ott have each had successful surgery following respective calf and knee injuries.
