Nick Coffield will make his return to the senior line-up as one of three inclusions for Saturday afternoon’s must-win match against West Coast.
Coffield, who has spent the past four weeks recovering from a hamstring strain, will be joined by Oscar Clavarino in the defensive end, while ruckman Paul Hunter has been named in the starting 22.
Hunter comes in for Rowan Marshall, who was forced to isolate from the squad earlier this week after being at a Tier 1 exposure site in Victoria.
Marshall, Tom Highmore (injured), Daniel McKenzie (concussion) and last week’s medical sub Jack Bytel make way for the incoming Saints.
Bytel has been named as an emergency alongside Jack Lonie and first-time selections Matthew Allison and Cooper Sharman.
St Kilda will lock horns with West Coast on Saturday 24 July, with the opening bounce at Optus Stadium amended to 2:35pm AWST (4:35pm AEST).
IN: Coffield, Clavarino, Hunter
OUT: Bytel (medi-sub), Highmore (injured), Marshall (isolation), McKenzie (injured)
Last week’s medical sub: Jack Bytel
