With so much polish and refinement to his game heading into just his third season, the future for Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera is one full of promise.

A shift to the half-back line at the start of the 2023 unlocked the best from the prodigious South Australian talent, who utilised his excellent foot skills to set the Saints up further afield in what was a captivating partnership with two-time Best & Fairest, Jack Sinclair.

Wanganeen-Milera’s deft touch, ball use and composure in the heat of battle only grew in influence and importance to St Kilda, with his stellar second season culminating in a top-five finish at the 2023 Best & Fairest, the club’s Best Emerging Player Award (shared with Mitch Owens) and selection in the AFLPA 22Under22 side.

The nephew of Brownlow medallist Gavin Wanganeen is set to continue packing a punch in red, white and black for at least the next two seasons, reaffirming his commitment to the club until at least the end of 2025.
