St Kilda's AFL Wheelchair (VWFL) and AFL Blind (VBFL) sides will resume their respective seasons this month following the state's further easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

Similar to last year's interrupted season, both competitions will now feature a condensed fixture which will culminate in corresponding Grand Finals within the next four weeks.

The Saints' AFL Blind side will return to the field on Saturday 13 November to play matches against Hawthorn, the Bulldogs and the Bombers at Action Indoor Sports Centre Tullamarine, while the AFL Wheelchair team won't return until Sunday 21 November having already qualified for finals.

The latter – who claimed its maiden Premiership last December – played four games earlier this year with a 3-1 record before Victoria's sixth lockdown brought the competition to a halt.

St Kilda's AFL Blind side also started its campaign strongly last July and currently sits on top of the ladder with two wins from two games.

Crowds for both competitions will be permitted in line with the Victorian Government's COVID-safe protocols.

All finals matches will be live-streamed through the respective Victorian Blind Football League and Victorian Wheelchair Football League Facebook pages.
