Rowan Marshall’s hard work has paid off.
The St Kilda Football Club confirmed on Friday afternoon that the 201cm Saint has been elevated to the senior list from the rookie list after toiling away for two seasons.
Known internally as ‘The Prospect’, Marshall made a splash at Moorabbin in 2018, adding 12 senior games to his tally and hinting at the lofty expectations embedded in his nickname.
The budding footballer’s height and athleticism allow him to play as both a key forward and ruckman, and his impact on games should only increase with age.

Head of List Management James Gallagher was rapt for the 22-year-old, saying the elevation is thoroughly deserved.
“Rowan’s worked hard to prove himself at the top level since coming in as a rookie,” he told saints.com.au.
“We’re really happy with his progress as a footballer, and he showed some really promising signs when he came into the senior side this year.
“To be elevated to the senior list is a good indication of how far he’s come during his two years at the club, but he’ll continue to work away and aim to play more senior footy in 2019.”
