St Kilda has emerged from its Round 4 and 5 trip to Adelaide with a clean bill of health, with no new injuries to report following Sunday’s match against the Giants.
Alex Dodson and Liam O’Connell have both made positive progress through their respective concussion protocols and will be available for selection this week, pending fitness tests.
Dodson joined his teammates in Adelaide during the week, training alongside fellow South Australian Mattaes Phillipou, who continues to track well in his respective rehabilitation.
Positively, Phillipou and Dougal Howard have both taken encouraging steps forward, showing optimistic signs as the pair both eye potential returns in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Paddy Dow has ticked off a significant milestone in his recovery, returning to light running duties at RSEA Park last week for the first time since sustaining a severe knee infection earlier in the season.
