St Kilda will introduce four new players to its line-up ahead of Saturday's season opener against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium.
First-gamers and first-round selections Lance Collard and Darcy Wilson will make their AFL debuts on the Saturday night prime-time stage, while Liam Henry and Riley Bonner are set to pull on the red, white and black for the first time following respective tenures at Fremantle and Port Adelaide.
The Saints will be further buoyed by the inclusions of Marcus Windhager and Brad Crouch, who have proven their fitness in time for Round 1. Windhager suffered a broken hand during St Kilda's match simulation against Essendon last month, while Crouch recently completed a conditioning block to head into Saturday night in top condition.
Zaine Cordy has been named at full-back in the absence of Dougal Howard (hamstring), while Josh Battle (knee) has also been selected after sitting out the AAMI Community Series as a precaution.

The Saints will be without All-Australian Jack Sinclair for Round 1 as he finalises his rehabilitation from a calf complaint, with hopes on a return in time for Spud's Game in Round 2.
Draftees Arie Schoenmaker and Hugo Garcia, along with Anthony Caminiti, have been named as emergencies. The substitute for Round 1 will be named an hour before the bounce and will be one of the players named in the starting 23.
St Kilda will look to begin its 2024 campaign on the right note against Geelong this coming Saturday night at GMHBA Stadium, commencing at 7:30pm AEDT.
