Marcus Windhager will miss at least four weeks after scans yesterday confirmed a right hamstring strain.
The 21-year-old was substituted out of Sunday’s win against Sydney soon after half-time with the injury.
“It’s disappointing for Marcus, who has really been finding some form over the past few months,” EGM Football David Misson said.
“Marcus is an incredibly diligent young athlete, who we know will attack his rehab with professionalism.”
Meanwhile, Anthony Caminiti is expected to be unavailable for two to three weeks as he recovers from an ankle injury, while Max King has commenced the early steps of his knee recovery.
Paddy Dow (ankle) and Riley Bonner (foot) will both be tested at training this week after their respective injuries precluded them from action over the weekend.
