Jack Sinclair is in contention to receive an All-Australian blazer for the third consecutive season, this evening earning selection in the All-Australian squad.

Sinclair enjoyed another prominent campaign in Saints colours, featuring in all but one appearance for the season to further entrench himself as one of the club’s most skilled and impactful users.

Deployed both across half-back and through the midfield, the 29-year-old averaged 27 disposals at 75 per cent efficiency, six score involvements, five marks and 459 metres gained per game, going above the 30-disposal mark on eight separate occasions.

Despite losing the iconic mullet last off-season, the No. 35 didn't lose any of the magic. Sinclair’s best football was most apparent when showcasing his impressive two-way game, on many occasions both stabilising his side when moving out of defence and serving as a driving force heading into attack.

Sinclair topped St Kilda’s stats-sheet for total disposals (596) and score involvements (133) — the latter statistic the most in the league for all defenders — and also placed in the club’s top-three for total metres gained (10090), clearances (67) and rebound-50s (97).

Since clinching the first of his two Best & Fairest and All-Australian selections, Sinclair has served as a member of the club’s leadership group, forming part of this year’s line-up alongside Jack Steele, Callum Wilkie, Rowan Marshall and Seb Ross.

The final All-Australian team will be announced on Thursday evening at the 2024 AFL Awards.
