Euro-Yroke will be without vice-captain Bianca Jakobsson for Sunday’s final match of the season against Brisbane, however could have up to four potential inclusions to close out the year at RSEA Park.

Kiera Whiley, Ella Friend, Maddie Boyd and Simone Nalder have been named on the extended bench for Sunday, with Jakobsson the only confirmed omission for Week 10.

The vice-captain will spend at least five months in rehabilitation after suffering a severe hyper-extension to her left knee during last week’s game against the Western Bulldogs.

As part of AFLW Indigenous Round, the Saints will proudly go by the Boon Wurrung name of Euro-Yroke and will wear a special red, yellow and black guernsey designed by Wagiman artist Nathan Patterson.

Euro-Yroke’s final side will be confirmed tomorrow evening at 5:00pm AEDT.
