St Kilda has made one change for its final game of the 2024 NAB AFLW Season, with Simone Nalder coming back into the line-up as Euro-Yroke looks to finish its season on a high against Brisbane.

The 21-game ruck comes into the squad in place of the injured Bianca Jakobsson, who will spend five months in rehabilitation after suffering a severe hyper-extension to her knee during last weekend’s match against the Western Bulldogs.

Kiera Whiley, Ella Friend and Maddie Boyd have been named as emergencies.

In one final milestone for the season, proud Kamilaroi woman Natalie Plane has been named for her 50th game at the highest level, fittingly as part of AFLW Indigenous Round.

Beginning her career at Carlton in the competition’s inaugural season in 2017, the utility has played 13 games for the Saints to-date after joining the club via the Season 7 Sign & Trade Period.

As part of celebrating First Nations culture through the AFLW Indigenous Round, the Saints will proudly go by the Boon Wurrung name of Euro-Yroke and will wear a special red, yellow and black guernsey designed by Wagiman artist Nathan Patterson on Sunday afternoon.

Euro-Yroke will face Brisbane in its final match of the season at RSEA Park, beginning at 1:05pm.
